Interview

I was interviewed for job today.
The company is the place which I've wanted to work since I lived in Australia.
I want to spread health of mind and body and to be a professional.
Then I want to keep helping people.
I was glad to meet two harb advisers. They are kind and full of passion.

I've come back to Japan.
I enjoyed very much in Brisbane.
I got many things from many people in Australia which I couldn't experience in Japan.
Really had a good time! I love Brisbane.

Old title: Transient Rest - Australian Life

It has been a long time since I was a student but now I am a student in Australia. It’s exciting for me to live here. My student life with many friends of different nationalities is fantastic. I experience invaluable things!

about me: I live in Brisbane, Australia now after working in Japan. Living abroad was one of my hopes. It’s realized now. How nice! And I study English. My English is poor now, but I want to improve my English and talk to many countries’s people. Anyway I enjoy!

Ice Cream Day!

My friend, Penny creates a holiday! - Ice Cream Day-

She likes ice cream & chips very much. Me too!
And she likes summer. So the holiday is on the 11th of July.
People eat ice cream & chips and sleep. This holiday is for lazy people, couch potatoes and people who love eating. And then there will be an Eating Ice Cream Race. The winner of the race is the person who eats the most ice cream. Maybe I'll be a winner. I wish this holiday existed! But it should just be 1 day because I'm afraid of getting fat.

Earth's Future

In 2100......

I think population will be less because developing countries will develop and they can't have so many children. Maybe people can't afford the time and money to bring up many children. But I want to have many children. And all children will receive education and medical treatment while more people will have mind disease and it'll be difficult to cure.
Next most countries will work on solving environmental destruction. I hope people are smart... But now it has already started. So the environment in 2100 depends on what we do now.
I hope that many human-like robots, which appear in some films, won't live in my neighbourhood.

Which picture?

I was travelling with my friend in the Middle East. We were walking around the market where there were many colourful clothes, bags, food, flowers, plates, glass shops, and so on which we had never seen. I felt I had stepped into another world.

In front of one shop, my feet stopped because red, yellow, yellow green, ocher, blown and black spices came into my view. I love spicy food. So I asked the salesman who looked strong, affectionate and elderly how to cook or use the spices. Of course he didn't understand English. But he smiled gently and made us try them. Though I didn't know if they were good or not because they were just spices, I bought one.

Love and Marriage!

I interviewed Yi-An who is my classmate about love and marriage.

People get married at about 28 years old in his country, Tiwan. It's similar in Japan.
I think an age people marry is getting older.
He'd invite to his wedding about 20 guests, his family and friends. I think so and it's best to be held snug and everyone congratulate.
He looks for being honest, friendly and most important thing, being beautiful in a partner.
In Tiwan It's usual for people to "go Dutch" but at first a man pays all.
He doesn't know a blind date and of course he never been on a blind date. A blind date-I don't know too. But It seems to be interesting!
About an arranged marriage...It seems If the girl is beautiful, he'll decide to get married. Then If the girl is ugly, he doesn't do.His answer is funny. If most men thinks like this, women who are beautiful will be lucky.
He thinks getting married means giving up his freedom because he has to ask his wife when he uses money.
And he thinks also he will change if he get married because he spends little time video games now. But I think It's difficult to change more little bit time because I know many men who can't change it.
It's interesting for me to interview and know the views of other people!

My holiday

"What a beautiful sea it is!" My holiday started with my friends in Cairns. It was very hot.
I enjoyed snorkeling. I like swimming in the deep sea because I feel flying in the air.
Then We visited Sydney. It was crowded and It was cooler than Brisbane. We went to the Blue Mountains which was one of places I wanted to go. The view we saw wasn't blue but deep green because of bad weather. I loved the fresh air.
And then We visited Opera house and Harbour Bridge. The view at night was very nice. Of course, the view during the day was good too.
We finally visited Melbourne. It was rainy and very cold. But in Phillip Island We watched so cute penguins which tried to go home against the waves. I wondered if they would lose their way.
I enjoyed the trip and I realized that the best living place was Brisbane because of the weather and the scale.
